MBA (Agri Business)

Eligibility:

Indian nationals below 30 years of age and possessing Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or allied disciplines (Horticulture/Veterinary and Animal Science/Dairy Science/ Dairy Technology/Food Science/ Fisheries, etc.) from any Agricultural University or Institution recognized by ICAR with a minimum 60 per cent marks (55 per cent for SC/ST) are eligible to apply for the programme. Final year graduating students, expecting to complete all degree requirements before July 15, 2010 can also apply.

Number of seats: The regular intake capacity is 25 (60% seats for candidates belonging to Rajasthan and 40% seats for candidates from other States/UTs). In addition to the regular seats, 5 payment seats (including Industry/NRI sponsored) shall be filled up by candidates meeting the prescribed eligibility requirement. Seats for different categories are reserved as per the reservation policy followed by the University. Foreign students may be considered for admission on the basis of nomination from ICAR/Govt. of India on supernumerary seats.

MBA (Agribusiness Management)

A total of 30 students will be admitted every year. (25 % of seats from the ICAR quota)

A graduate in agriculture/horticulture/forestry/ABM or allied sciences or a graduate in Biological Sciences  (Botany, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Microbiology) with 60 % marks (OGPA 6.00/10.00)  for general category candidates and a minimum of 55 % (OGPA 5.50/10.00) for SC/ST candidates. Final year students who expect to receive their graduation or master's mark sheet/grade card before the date of the admission to this course may also apply.
