Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) is a university located in Kota in the state of Rajasthan, India. The university was established in 2006. Formerly it was Engineering College, Kota.
Rajasthan Technical University was setup in 2006 by the Govt. of Rajasthan to enhance technical education in Rajasthan. The university is situated on Kota-Rawatbhata Road, about 10 Km from Kota Bus Stand and 14 Kms from Kota Railway Station. It is located in the city of Kota, which is approximately 500 km from New Delhi.
The university has been established in the campus of University College of Engineering, Kota (previously known as Engineering College, Kota), which is located on the Rawatbhata Road,Kota, Rajasthan.
