Annual Intake of Students :-  
The candidate should have completed the 
 Age of 17 year at the time of admission or shall complete this age on 31st December of the year  of his admission, provided that the candidate being admitted to the five year course, including one year for pre-dental course should have completed the age of 16 years at  the time of admission or shall complete this age on 31st December of the year of his admission to the pre - dental course.
 The candidate should have passed the two years Intermediate or equivalent course thereof,
 With Science subjects, viz. Physics, Chemistry and Biology from a recognized Indian University or Pre-University (Intermediate Board).
 The candidate should have passed the B.Sc. (Part-I) Examination of an Indian University as laid down by the University Grants commission (UGC).
 The candidate should be medically fit.

Note:-  A student who has passed the B.Sc. Examination with one or more of the subjects mentioned at (b) above would be admitted to the Dental Course if he had passed the remaining subjects of the Medical group (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) in the Pre- university / Intermediate examination.
The candidate should have secured not less than 50% of marks on the aggregate of the above subjects in the qualifying or competitive examination conducted on similar lines as the qualifying examination conducted by a competitive body. * for Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes, the minimum marks required for admission shall be 40% in lieu of 50% for general candidates

How To Apply:
1.      The B.D.S. course offered by RDCH offers an insight to Dentistry. For admission fill the form neatly and attach the documents enlisted at the back of application form and the fee be deposited by way of Demand Draft along with application form.
2.      A candidate should have secured not less than 50% of marks as the aggregate of PCB in 12th examination.
3.      Application form duly filled should be sent by post or submitted in person at the office of the Rajasthan Dental College and Hospital, Bagru Khurd, Ajmer Road, Jaipur or at any of the designated centers as decided by Govt. of Rajasthan time to time.
4.      Selection of candidates would be done on the basis of the merit & written test conducted by the designated University  and as per other norms of the Dental Council of India, University of Rajasthan, State Govt rules/regulations, other Governing bodies regulations and as per applicable decisions of Honorable Supreme court & High court.
5.      Selected candidate will be called for counseling by the Concerned/ designated agency. Candidates are requested to come with all the documents as informed / advertised .
6.      Viva would be conducted after counseling of short listed students. Viva test is based on the subjects of PCB of 12th standard to check knowledge on the subjects. Selection committee would conduct viva test.
7.      Finally selected candidates would be admitted to B.D.S. course and they would be required to deposit the fees.
8.      Admission for foreign and N.R.I. students will be subject to norms of the DCI & Govt. of Rajasthan.

The BDS course offered by Rajasthan Dental College commenced in September 2004. It is housed in a self-contained four-storey building, having a built-up area of 154,000 sq. ft., and is one of the biggest dental colleges in Rajasthan. The building includes pre-clinical dental laboratories, lecture halls, a conference centre, faculty offices, administrative offices, clinical

treatment areas, small group discussion areas, a faculty practice, and a library. Sufficient area has been earmarked for future expansion and also to commence post-graduate programmes as well as to carry out research activities.Hundred (100) students are admitted to the BDS course in the College every year. The duration of the course is 5 years with a 1 year optional rotating internship. The curriculum is in accordance with the Dental Council of India regulations.
